“I was looking for someone to restore my grandfather’s 1965 Chevy pickup that was still in our family. I contacted Dave at Memory Lane Restoration and he came to look at it and told me what the process would be, and I decided to hire him. His work was very meticulous and he was very conscious of the cost of parts to be replaced. Now every time I take it out for a Sunday drive people’s heads turn. Dave took his time to do it right, and we love the end product.”

“Memory Lane restored my 1972 Pontiac LeMans Sport. I’m really happy with results and it’s a new car again.”
Terry Hofmeyer

“I hired Dave to totally restore a 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais that we had. I took second place in the first car show I took it to after we restored it. I was very happy with Dave’s work. He does excellent work and is very conscientious about everything, so I really appreciate everything he did for us. I would refer him to anyone interested in refurbishing a vehicle. I’m actually in the process of doing a motor on a 1978 Ford pickup, which eventually Dave will restore the body on that, so I’m looking forward to benefiting from his services again.”

“I had Dave restore my 1965 Mustang, which was in bad shape. I was told by other people that I had to tear it down and he did a very good job for me. I don’t regret it one bit. He does a very thorough job and doesn’t miss a thing.”
Larry Hofman

“I had a 1970 Chevelle that I wanted Dave to restore for me and boy he did a really nice job. He is very, very professional. Nobody does it like Dave. He does an immaculate job. When he restores a car, he brings it back to brand new condition. I’d highly recommend him.”
Steve Fresk
Windom, MN
“Dave at Memory Lane created a unique vehicle for me, and I am very happy with the process and the finished vehicle. Dave was able to "marry" a 1965 Ford factory crew cab, a 1964 Ford short box and a 1995 Ford F-150 4WD to create the ride of my dreams, "Time Traveler”. Through the entire process, Dave listened to my ideas and offered suggestions, but I always got the final word. His skills are only surpassed by his integrity."
Dwayne Van Leeuwen
Hull, IA
“Dave helped me complete a restoration project on my 1970 Ford Mustang Convertible. I’d started the project in my garage and took it as far as I could, then I connected with Dave and we worked out a deal where he would finish it. I’m really happy with the finished product. I’ve won numerous awards and trophies at car shows, which is a testament to Dave’s work. He’s very fussy and particular about the little things, and that’s what matters to me because I’m the same way. I want things done right, and we both saw eye to eye on that and got along really well. That’s just the way he rolls. He does things right and doesn’t cut corners on quality.”

“Dave renovated a 1950 Chevy pickup for me and did a great job. I was happy with the outcome and would definitely refer him to others.”
Harvey Lyman

“Memory Lane Restorations restored a 1928 American LaFrance Fire Truck for us. He did everything -- tore it down to nothing, worked on it for about a year and a half. He did a very fine job and we would definitely hire him again.”
Rainer Nielsen
Sergeant Bluff, IA
“Dave restored my 1976 Firebird Formula and repainted a 1967 International Scout I have. He made them look good again. I’m very happy with the end product. Every time I’ve had a vehicle in there they come back in a very timely manner. I’ve referred Dave more than once and will continue to do so.”

“Dave took me through the entire restoration process. I really was a novice and didn’t know anything about restoring cars. But I’ve wanted a Mustang convertible since I was a kid, so I talked to Dave and asked if he knew where I could find one for sale, He made a call right then and located a 1964.5 Mustang convertible. He went with me to inspect it to make sure it was in good shape and we hauled it back. He did a total restoration on it and explained every step along the way and what the options were. I’m very happy with how it turned out. Dave does really great work and doesn’t cut corners. He does it all first class.”
